Senate Candidates to Visit Harrison County

We wanted to make you aware of a couple of visits to Harrison County this coming week by Senator Richard Lugar and State Treasurer Richard Mourdock, who is challenging Lugar in the Republican Senate primary next May.

Tuesday, July 5

State Treasurer Richard Mourdock will be in Corydon on the evening of Tuesday, July 5. He will speak at Golf Shores Fun Center in Corydon at 7:00 pm for the weekly meeting of the Corydon Tea Party. Afterward, he will take questions. The event is free to attend and the event is open to the public.

Wednesday, July 6

United States Senator Richard Lugar will be in Corydon on the morning of Wednesday, July 6. He will give a “View from the U.S. Senate” at the YMCA in Corydon at 10:00 am for the Harrison County Chamber of Commerce. Afterward his remarks, he will take questions. The event is open to members of the Harrison County Chamber of Commerce and their guests, and requires advance registration by calling 812-738-2137 by July 5.
