The Harrison County Republican Party will hold a ceremony on Friday evening, December 28, at 7 p.m. for the swearing in of the winners of the November election.
The ceremony will take place in the Circuit Courtroom of the Harrison County Courthouse and will be open to the public and will be followed by a reception honoring the newly-sworn-in officials with cake and punch.
The event is open to the public. Family, friends, and supporters are all welcome to attend.
Though the event is being hosted by the Republican Party, nonpartisan school board members are welcome to attend and also be sworn in during the ceremony.
